Adobes - Historic - Nipomo
Dana Adobe Est. 1840 National Register A 13-room adobe residence, it was built by Captain William Goodwin Dana about 1840. Docent conducted tours are Sat and Sun from noon until 4:00 pm. Directions: Exit the 101 freeway at Tefft in Nipomo, CA (30 miles south of San Luis Obispo). Go east one block to Oakglen and south one mile. There will be a sign on the entrance. The Mission San Miguel Restoration Fund
The Earthquake of December 22nd, 2003 caused extensive damage to the old Mission Church, and it is closed for now to the public. A second rebuilding program to preserve the old structure has already begun.
