Once part of an early Spanish land grant, Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site features one of the few remaining two-story adobes in Southern California. This National, State and Local Historic Landmark provides visitors with educational opportunities that illuminate the past and give a "sense of place" and continuity within our ever-changing society. A visit to the 1844 two-story Spanish-colonial adobe is a step back in time with serene gardens and Victorian furnishings.

California Research Library, Gift Shop and picnic tables available on the premises. Admission is free. Open 1-5 p.m. for self-guided tours Wed. - Fri., with guided tours every hour on the hour on Sat. and Sun. Closed Mon. and Tue. and all City holidays.
